Marcus Foster scored a career-high 34 points on 13-of-16 shooting and Kansas State beat No. 15 Texas 74-57 on Saturday, ending the Longhorns' seven-game winning streak.
Foster surpassed the previous scoring mark for a Kansas State freshman set by Michael Beasley against Colorado with 33 points on March 4, 2008. Foster's previous high was 25 points against Oral Roberts on Nov. 13.

WE played with unreal energy the first half.   Defense was as good in 1st hf as it has been all year.  3-13 from 2pt, 5-20 overall, 10 TOs forced in 28 poss.  Wow
The JV came in and allowed 8 pts in 5 poss or the final numbers would even look better. 

8-16 today for us from 3pt.  Last 2 games at home vs top 100, we were 9-21 vs WV and 11-21 vs OU. 
Will now 15 for last 30 from 3pt.  Foster 14-29 3pt at home in conf play

I think this was the best  half of BB against a ranked team since we were leading #7 Mizzou 44-25 2 yrs ago.

I can't remember the last time I've seen a team play with so much energy on defense as I did in the first half of this game. Guy were just flying to the ball, it was unreal.
