Its the nature of scheduling now. It used to be you could get 2 for 1 deals with MAC level teams, but now you have to go down to the bottom level FBS teams for a 2 for 1 for most programs. Only FCS teams go 1 game paydays with BCS level teams anymore and anyone else is a 1 for 1 or maybe you can swing a neutral site type game like in Arrowhead.

yes. which is why when forced to schedule a 2 for 1 with one of those teams, san antonio is about as good as it gets. close to alumni, recruits, former players. nice city. good weather. i mean do i need to go on? would people rather do a 2 for 1 with akron?

Exactly rd. Go ahead and keep tearing up these fools in this thread.

That all seems logical, but what about the appeal of scheduling a Wildcat trifecta of teams (NW, UK, UA)?  Sometimes the things in life that will make us happy can't be quantified.

I imagine if you were to plot dopamine levels over time and integrate the graph over some constraints happiness could be quantified.

Really crappy FBS teams (FIU, FAU, some sun belts) still seem like they will do a game without a return game.

Yeah, but they are getting more expensive every year.

Here is a list of games since 2009:
KSU at ULL
USF at WKU
Indiana at WKU
Rutgers at FIU
Minnesota at MTSU
Oklahoma State at ULL
KSU at North Texas
Duke at FIU
Indiana at North Texas
Georgia Tech at MTSU
Baylor at ULM
Miss St. at Troy
Louisville at FIU
Oklahoma St at UTSA (2013, CUSA was basically the new Sun Belt)
ISU at Tulsa (2013, CUSA was basically the new Sun Belt)

Future CUSA/Sun Belt Games:
Missouri at Ark St
Miami at Ark St
Miss. St at South Alabama
NC State at South Alabama
Oklahoma St at South Alabama
Duke at Troy
Wake Forest at ULM
Miami (Fl) at Florida Atlantic
Pitt at FIU
Louisville at FIU
Maryland at FIU
Purdue at Marshall
Louisville at Marshall
BYU at MTSU
Vandy at MTSU
NC State at Old Dominion
VaTech at Old Dominion (x2)
Vandy at WKU
Miss St at LaTech
Baylor at Rice
Northwestern at Rice
Stanford at Rice
BYU at Southern Miss
Texas Tech at UTEP
Arizona at UTEP
Arizona at UTSA
Arizona St at UTSA
Baylor at UTSA
KSU at UTSA

I would be ok with KSU getting a reputation of only playing OOC games in Manhattan or in the state of Texas.
I once blew clove smoke in a guy's face that cut in front of me in the line to KJ's.

I hope we keep them on the schedule get paid the $500k. If we do I will be making the trip to San Antonio. Hopefully by then the Fannman won't push me in the Riverwalk.  :ohno:
I would never do that. Water under the bridge, literally.
