I think college football is down in general, but he has no reason being at the top of the list, no matter how good/bad the SEC is.

Formulas to determine conference strength don't mean much when the schedule is as unbalanced as theirs is. You have to look at it on a case by case, team by team basis. The SEC is pretty damned good if you are LSU. It is awful if you are Missouri.
