Besides UT and OU's natties?  They are the greatest program in history.  I'd say yes.

Yes, but this would tie their win against Michigan.

Lot of similarities when you break it down.  Both located next to cities with a bad rap, that are simply down on their luck (Detroit, Wamego).   Hot Dogs are big in the Ann Arobor/Detroit area, Corn Dogs are big in Manhattan/Wamego area (Vista in Manhattan, but Sonic in Wamego).  Bat Cats were pretty good this year, so were the Tigers.  Pistons used to be the "Bad Boys," we used to have Huggs and Frank.  It's pretty scary when you start to really analyze it.

I am going to say no to the OP.  I mean, we Fiesta'ed Tennessee's faces off without mercy back in the late '90's.  That is a historic program full of winning tradition.  Overcoming Tennessee and their amazing history of just winning the biggest games is by far our biggest out of conf victory.  Second would have to be almost beating Auburn at Auburn in the Prince days.

No matter what happens w mich, the above remains above all else.

I'm not saying I believe this, but I think the argument could be made that it is bigger than OU's NC.

We have had an insane amount of postseason success, so it's hard to pick one but Michigan is the most successful program ever and in 2013 they had even more wins than when Texas beat them so this would be bigger.

I can't argue with this.  My answer is yes.

Yes.  Put this win behind the 2 natties, ahead of all others.

Does this win make us the greatest program in the history of college football?  I mean now that we've beaten the winningest team in CFB plus dominated greatest team of all time in 03, we have to be right?

I agree wholeheartedly Stevesie.  It's not clear-cut, but there's definitely a discussion there, especially when you really start to go deep into the specifics of this game and Oklahoma's national championship run.  It's certainly a rousing debate.

How many teams can say that they're unbeaten vs Michigan? We're pretty elite  :gocho:
