I envy the Huskers for watering  down their competition. Smart actually. Doubt they make a bowl down here.

It has everything to do with KU wanting an invite.  They really want to be competitive without going through the necessary work to do so in the Big12.

KU is seeing how Nebraska was able to avoid playing us once we got good again while at the same time creating an illusion of quality by beating up on weak conference foes. With Colorado and Missouri gone there really isn't easy targets for them to scratch out wins.

They watch Nebraska and go  COULD BE US!
