I’m too lazy to look it up, but I would imagine Bill’s total compensation package is below Stoops, Mack, Gundy, and possibly Briles now. So we are getting what we pay for, no?

I just wish we'd make his salary like 4 mil and then tell him to pay for crap rather than give it to him. That way, it would look like we pay him more than we do.

This isn't about any other sport, and this isn't a comparison of pay with other coaches. Do you really want to go there? Here's a pro-tip, take K-State's total football revenue in FY 2013, add $69 million dollars and you've got Texas' Football Revenue in 2013. Take K-State's total athletic revenue in Fy 2013, add $95 million and you've got Texas' total athletic revenue in FY 2013.

And no, don't pull a Wabash and say something like, "well in light of their underachievement, Bill's more than worth it." That's not the question/issue, they can spend $5 million a year on a coach simply because they can.

yeah because currie has made some home run hires. until proven otherwise we ride Snyder as long as we can regardless of his "perks", we have plenty of money so why care?
