Hey guys. Dlew here to bring you the gems from the TCU game thread. This week, I headed over to KillerFrogs.com and read 1,043 posts on 53 pages so you don't have to! Not one of the best GotG threads ever, but the Frogs really hate their defensive scheme ("WE NEED TO BLITZ!") and really hate their offensive line. Most posts were about these topics. Here's the rest:
FIRST QUARTER
I already can see how they are going to ref this game. A fumble would of been devastating for KSU and a sure TCU TD.
TCU is going to have to win this despite the refs.
After Slaughter's INT:
Ha! Remember boys, TCU will always screw you on offense. Really bad throw.
Heh, wheels coming off early today. Sams is a very potent running QB.
Gotta put a spy on that guy if we want to contain him. He literally can not throw so man to man shouldn't be an issue.
Two big pass interference calls not made and two holding calls on the TD play not called. Jack wagon Refs owe us 4 calls.
I love when opposing fans bitch about how much we hold.
After TLBL's touchdown:
K St is a very well coached team.
Just wait till the end of the half, frog.
SECOND QUARTER
KSU lost one of their better defenders. Most teams would try going after his replacement to find out if he is up to the job. We, obviously, are not most teams.
Again the refs seem to have an agenda against us. Hate harping on something so subjective but man we get the hose. What is don't want to see is them letting us getting buried with bad calls then start giving us make up calls in the 4tg when the game is out hand.
We look clueless when SAMs runs the option.
The K St defense has been getting some very hard hits on the Frogs
Sams is like Collin Klein.

How K State only ends up with three there I'll never know....as others mentioned, strange clock work
At the half, no penalties on K State. K State OL holding on almost every play and refs turning their heads to it. I feel for these Frogs. Every play is an up hill battle. Proud of them for hanging tough. Game is closer than the score. We could win this one. Go Frogs!
THIRD QUARTER
Boykin at punt returner? The hell?

I believe it was Zimmerman's backup with that ineffectual hit. Looks like the drop off is pretty steep after him

Really, I don't think they should have gone back and called the flag after the fact... Kinda cheap if you ask me. They missed it, flag wasn't thrown, you don't get a do-over like that

No bowl for the first time in 9 years. Unless you count Baylor. Our super bowl.
