They play with a theoretical 8 second shot clock and play defense with the mindset of steal or bust, sub all the effing time.
fwiw most people on this board could play NAIA/DIII hoops. strut n cut would probably murder people and get bumped to DII.
Another day, another 100-plus point effort from Grinnell College's Jack Taylor. The Division III star, who sent waves through the sports world last year when he dropped 138 points in a single game for the small liberal arts school from Iowa, was back at it again Sunday afternoon against Crossroads College (Rochester, Minn.). En route to leading Grinnell to a 173-123 win, the 5'10" junior guard from Black River Fall, Wisc., dropped 109 points on the day, slotting his name just below his other name in the record books, per the school's official Twitter feed
After dropping 71 in the Pioneers' season opener, Taylor is now averaging a cool 90 points per game.
Grinnell College of Iowa and coach Dave Arseneault, you've been Doyeled.
Jeff (BPredict) ?@BPredict 7mI feel like the Grinnell basketball team was invented by national sportswriters to give them a vehicle for preening, self-righteous columns.
