That is the day this season took a turn for the worst and started heading down the shitter.

Had Waters picked Penn State, then Nick Marshall would be wearing purple rather than the Navy/Orange of Auburn.  Waters would be an ideal fit for what they are trying to do at PSU and Marshall would've been the ideal competitor for Sams here as both are similar talents with similar skill sets that fit the Snyder offense that has featured Bishop, Beasley, Roberson, Klein, etc.

We also would've likely gotten Rihyad Jones outta that deal as he and Marshall wanted to continue to play together, thus rendering the Dorian Roberts issue a moot point.
