Why when I have a chrome browser open for a long time will it start to be super slow and I have to close Chrome and reopen all my tabs with my various websites and whatnot is it then fast again? Also, how can I have it not be? Also how can I save all my tabs to make it automatic all of them are open again?

If you go into Chrome settings, you can click "start where I left off" to get all your tabs back that you had open when you closed. I've also made sure Chrome doesn't run in the background. It seems to make things pretty slow. On windows, I right-click on the icon down by the clock, and tell it not to run in the background.

Hope this helps, sd.

that is generally a memory leak when something begins using more and more processor as it sits idle.   bad software programming, only way to fix is restart it.

I've always had more issues with firerfox doing this.  but yeah, the program doesn't know when to stop itself essentially.  As Mikey said, restart it.

like what is a long time? over 1 day? over a week?

I've noticed that if i put my computer to sleep, instead of a shutdown every day...it starts to run like crap by the end of the week.

you might as well just reopen your chrome browser if those are your two options. :dunno:
