we could have hired a graphic design intern or something to come up with better armbands, though. they look like someone made them with the default MS Paint font.
Its the official athletics font. 
maybe it is stretched or something, but it looks really really bad on that armband.
I think it just looks simple because its purple text on white. Perhaps black or white on purple would've been better.
I'm pretty sure it's stretched tall, also just about everywhere you see it on the website it is italicized.
Like I said, a graphic design intern could likely do better.
