"hoosier" means something to them but I'm not real sure what.

hoosier is in the same vein as white trash and redneck. some people would tell you that there's a huge difference between being white trash and being a redneck but those people are rubes.

Michcat the tote bag thing just blew my mind. I'm hanging out with st Louis ppl tonight. I will bring my backpack and set it down near one of them and at some point casually ask "hey can you hand me that object right there? What's that called again?"

sounds reasonable.  the guy brings his kid into a bar, makes the wait staff coddle his stupid ass kid, and then he gets mad when they tell him that his son is a d-bag.

maybe the guy should have taken the kid to mcdonalds?
