One of life's great questions has been answered...

It takes a little less than a year for the residue of toughness to wear off. With Mike Anderson and Frank Martin's residue wearing off their respective former teams in back to back years in approximately the same amount of time, I think we can finally put this one to rest. ~1 year

Toughness isn't the issue. They are just doing what oscar tells them to when they start running clock with a 1 point lead.
