Self's Reaction
« on: March 10, 2013, 11:27:39 PM »
Watched Self's show tonight. He admitted he always places more value on the conference season than he does the Big 12 Tournament.

Then he said that because KU "pittered away" the conference title, and only shared the title, the tourney takes on more importance.

Bill Butthurt. Go Cats!

Motivational bullshit.

Probably so. That said, Bill really seemed and looked annoyed that he had to share the title with us. Just like the entire KU fanbase.

Self is really great after a loss. I'm envious.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

self only talks to the media to shame his players into playing better.

Also, he is the best at doing so without coming right out and saying to the media that they are garbage.

Didn't Self just tell Jason King a couple of weeks ago, that conference titles don't mean that much?  Which is it Bill??  What a tangled web we weave when we are cheating on our wife.

Am I the only one sensing a potentional first round (now 2nd round) NCAA tourney loss to Belmont?  It will go nicely with classic KU choke jobs vs Bucknell and University of Northern Flood Aggy?

KU struggles with teams that are good at making 3's (see ISU), and it seems like most midmajors in the tourney specialize in shooting a ton of 3's. If I were a KU fan, I would want to get screwed in seeding and play teams from the Big 10 and SEC.
