Bowlsby said the agenda at the recent meetings was small - just three items. He said Big 12 athletic directors discussed composition of the league, future bowl game agreements and football scheduling. Among those items, the idea of a championship game remains a priority for the Big 12, even with just 10 teams.' "We will probably ask for it," said Bowlsby. He believes the league doesn't need to go to 12 teams just to get a championship game. "We've deregulated a lot of things recently," said Bowlsby.
How do you do a championship game with a RR schedule? seems weird.
will be interesting to see how the break up the divisionspisses: KU, ISU, WVU, KSU, OUclams: TT, UT, BU, OSU, TCU
A CCG in a 10 team conference is just stupid. That guarantees one of your top two teams gets an extra loss, and in a round robin you just can't afford that. It will kill any chance of the Big 12 receiving a second BCS bid.
Really looking forward to a 9-3 (7-2) K-State team beating a 12-0 (9-0) Texas team for the Big XII title and going to the Fiesta Bowl in a couple years while Texas plays in the Cotton.
