Am I Missing Something?

I keep reading about how Texas has looked "very impressive" since losing to Oklahoma. WTF?? I'm pretty sure I watched them barely win a shootout against Baylor (2nd worst B12 team) score a last second TD to beat KU (worst B12 team) knock off a ok but reeling TTU team and then beat ISU (the 3rd worst B12 team) that has lost four of its last five by 26.  They have been anything but impressive. It seems to me like they have just finished playing the bottom half of the B12 and barely escaped with wins.  We will absolutely destroy these losery puds!  :lynchmob:

It's all part of the scheme.  We want the voters and the public and the talking heads to think Texas is actually a good team so we get credit for slaughtering them on 12/1.  All of us know they're the same loser puds who were sodomized by OU, but let everyone else think they're "rebounding" because they're beating trash teams.

This.  If we can get them into Manhattan with a top 14 rating then boot them the eff out, it'll be all the more awesome.

They are looking pretty good. You reel off a bunch of consecutive big 12 wins and it means something no matter who you play.

Exactly.  Not aggreeing with this really discounts the accomplishments of our own team this year.

Agree with the OP. Tejas is just cleaning out the cellar (barely - KU?!  :lol:) these last few games. Still, now that we're at #1 and our opponent ranking doesn't matter anymore  :gocho: I'm rooting for them to take a tumble against TCU.
