I remember pretty much everyone in that 2004 class. Who can forget Jesse Martinez faking the punt in College Station or comparing Parrish Fisher to Sproles or Tearrius George giving the game to Nebraska on the first day of bird season before going to the nfl?

I know there are a bunch of different factors, but this seems like the most obvious reason for our dropoff in 2004/2005, of course other than my purchase of ICAT tickets for those years.  Not so much that we didn't recruit good players, but that not a whole lot of anybody even bothered to show up at all.  Even half of those guys showing up could have changed everything.

I'd love to hear some stories regarding some of these guys, and how the staff reacted when things fell apart recruiting-wise.

Marcus Watts was a stud...an absolute stud. Got hurt all the time, then made big plays. Definitely a The Chamber type.

After 2006 he was complete garbage and a huge pussy.

Was 2007 Auburn his last good game?
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

What ever happened with Patton?  I can't remember.  I remember I thought he was going to be this huge get and then I think it was ACT scores that kept him out?  Did he also get in trouble?

I was and still am a Jermaine Moreira fan.

Didn't realize he was a 4-star. Just adds to his mystique, imo.

In the spring of 2003 I worked with Rasheed Berry (think that was his first name), Jermaine Berry's brother, at Home Depot in Manhattan. He was a big guy but I don't recall hearing much about him. Did he ever play? He seemed like a good guy.
