Who are we supposed to root for in the RRR? It's UT, right?
Quote from: Nuts Kicked on October 09, 2012, 08:52:25 AMWho are we supposed to root for in the RRR? It's UT, right?According to the logic that they ripped my ass for you would be cheering for OU in this game.
I would cheer for UT; we could use the rankings boost at the end of the season.

Now, we may want to cheer for OU because we have the tie breaker against them in pocket, but that's another discussion.

KU and KSU will be after the same Juco defenders this year. OSU owns us in recruiting with or without an extra win. Better to just bury KU.WVU: I believe that we will have to beat WVU to win the conference, even if they lose to Tech. Better to have them ranked as high as possible.BU/TCU - TOSS UP: Pick your poison. We recruit against both. Both have a conference loss already. Personally, I'll root for Baylor to get ranked and TCU to die on the vine.
Not even worth making a new thread for. Or maybe even typing on this one Week 9:Texas - move up the rankingsKentucky GeorgiaOUMiss StColorado

in the end, EMAW will always win.

OU is the most important and most likely, though.
I think if we lose we want OU to lose so we stay above them in the BCS if a 3 way tiebreaker occurs, right?
Quote from: Dlew12 on October 26, 2012, 01:57:08 PMI think if we lose we want OU to lose so we stay above them in the BCS if a 3 way tiebreaker occurs, right?yeah, if we lose at any point all concerns turn exclusively to the Dr Pepper. But, if OU loses there is no longer a 3 way tie (unless TTech and us both lose again)

But, if OU loses there is no longer a 3 way tie (unless TTech and us both lose again)well, losing to ND wouldn't affect conference standings, other than it would put Tech and the Cats in a comfortable lead over OU in the 3 way tiebreaker (which I think hinges on BCS rankings at some point)
