Making an assumption here, but I'm going to guess no KU fans complained about the one year they were good enough to run up the score on crap teams.  Look at they did to 3-9 Baylor in 2007.  Someone post this picture in OP's link, I'm too lazy to make an account there.

Snyder loves running up the score. It's just fun. He lives it so much that he, was even running up ku's score in the 3rd quarter.
