Is it really "sending your kid away to college" . . .

when you live in West Olathe and the kid goes to ku?

Then you get on Facebook and make it sound like you just packed them up and sent them off to Central Queensland University in Australia?

I know how moms can be . . . but seriously.

the answer is yes because the kid is going to go up to lawrentucky, get hooked on drugs and either end up in prison, on the streets, or in rehab, regardless, daughter won't ever be the same, their relationship will effectively be over and mom will be left wondering what she as a mother did wrong and why she forced her kid into the downward spiral that ensues.


it's a tough lesson to learn.
