Twitter spam: "U didn't see them taping you," "UR famous now" etc.

Hey dudes if you get a direct message on twitter from one of your friends or followers, etc. that says something similar to that posted in the title of this thread ignore it and use delete it.  It is a nasty spam, phishing, malware deal that I guess can pretty much eff your crap up. 

I got 3 from fanning, sys, and kk, so they have probably been gotten too.

It's easy to confuse outgoing and incoming messages on twitter.

How do you delete the DM's?  There are several of those in my inbox from people, and I don't want to click on them...do I have to click on them to be able to delete them?  Catch 22 OMG!

You can click on the DM and delete it.  Don't click on the link within the DM. 

That said, you probably didn't see them taping you.

I thought maybe he confused me with the REAL Cartier, clicked the link, then when it asked me to log in I thought, "this isn't a wise decision" and didn't log in.
