Stanbot, Predicto Wizard
« on: August 30, 2012, 01:52:17 PM »
I don't know if anyone remembers, but last year before the beginning of the season Stanbot predicted on a podcast that the Fighting Snydercats would get 9-10 wins and that Klein would become a superstar. We all had a good laugh at this, even though deep down in the cockles of our heart we tingled with delight at the possibility of a season like he described. Unfortunately, I have not heard his prediction this year, so if anyone has please post.

funny stan story here, bros. some buddies are i were pak'n at a local bar in auburn a few hours before the ksu cats game in '07. in walks stan weber by himself and saunters over to the bar area and orders a beer. he stands there for 30 minutes straight, one eye watching the michigan/app st. game and the other eye on an attractive female sitting at the bar directly in front of him. when said female leans over the bar you could see the back of her shirt go up and subsequently you can see her crack, and stans head and eyes follow her ass each and every time she leans over. he did this for about the next 20 minutes. he then leaves the bar about an hour and a half before kickoff after downing about three beers. my buddy says as he's leaving, 'how about that hot ass, stan?' he looks over, shows a slight smile and gives a huge thumbs up.

Another awesome story.  Stan works in my building - CFO of Tower Properties in KCMO.  I run into him on the elevator every once in awhile and I act like I don't recognize him.  But, deep down, I just want to say hi! or Go Cats! or something as I'm exiting the elevator.  Maybe nerves?

Also, he isn't the sharpest dressed man.  Basically a lot of Dwight Schrute type color combos.

This is easily the number two favorite thread of mine. The number one is where somebody on here pretends to know about soccer, but I know he struggles to find the correct spelling of "Arsenal" every time he makes a post in it. That is my favorite thread.
