Exploration Place?  No.  I'm not 100% sure you understand how Kansas Mentoring works.

A quick Google search (if you dont count the 5 minutes of hurdles I played on google.com) shows that the church is 20 minutes away from Star Wars heaven. Wedding is at 3:30 and Star Wars opens at 10 am.

Not really disappeared, but gone from Kansas for a good chunk of last school year.
