We use a messaging service at work (e.g IM) and there are people that won't make contact without an exchange of "hellos"  Just ask your F'n question, amirite?

I am like this when people approach me in person at work when I am clearly busy with stuff.  Some people are like "Hi, how's it going" before they ask me for crap.  I think they think they are being hospitable, but I see it as postponing the inevitable.  SAY WHAT YOU WANT OF ME, THEN LEAVE SO I CAN GET crap DONE

I knew this would devolve to a "things that piss you off" thread, but whatevs.  I was just making this same point tonight.  I hate when people know they are interrupting you, so they think that if they act all meek and passive about a request that it absolves them of a sense of guilt.  Get that meek crap outta here! Just tell me what you need and let me get back to work.

I'm reading a book about dealing with perfectionism. As it stands, I have an innumerable amount of pet peeves. I hope to have fewer at some point, so I can at least keep track of them all.

Thankfully, I don't suffer from that particular compulsion.  I do, however, feel that there is always a perfect setting for everything, and I'm always trying to find it.  This is why you may find me microwaving something for, say, 4' 22"

I never put in a normal time on a microwave, usually the same numbers. 1:30? Nope. Let's try :99. I think it goes back to a professor in college telling me that a study had proven it was actually quicker to microwave something for :11 than :10 because it's quicker to just hit 1 twice than for the brain to locate two different numbers on the keypad.  :surprised:

I also never leave the house without wearing a belt and a watch, and I always have chapstick. I will go days without using it, but it's always in my pocket.

I rough ridin' hate poor user experience, website design, etc.  Like I order crap online all the time.  If you can't put together a website that's easy and fast to use eff it I'm out and eff you before I go.

Amazon really set the standard and now everyone else must be judged against it.  I was shocked at how poor my experience w/ Brooks Brothers' website was.

Advanced Auto Parts sent out like a $20 off a $50 order, so I was like "ooo weee I'll just have the wiper blades I buy every spring shipped to the house yay."  eff. That.  eff them in the ass.  I hope they choke on a dick sized cholla cactus.

Well first I ordered like 6 different SKU's.  I had to, one at a time, select that each one needed to be shipped to my house.  Each click required like a 4 second wait for it to update shipping costs.  Then, it wouldn't even apply the mother rough ridin' discount!  It said it had accepted it, but it didn't apply it to the total.  I went all the way through putting in shipping and cc info thinking it would update.  NOPE.
