my source did not elaborate much on the visit per se, but just imagine if you were an 18 year old that was given the opportunity to sit down and meet coach snyder? i don't think i need to go any further. it is important to keep in mind though that these are precocious 18 years olds we're dealing with and sometimes wind can blow them in unexpected directions. so we'd all be well advised to buckle our seat belts on this one. rest assured the staff and i will keep digging and you guys will be the first to know if we uncover anything.

goEMAW.com staff has been in touch with some folks that are very close to the Jerel Morrow recruitment. The source said that Jerel's recruitment is "still up in the air" and added that it was "a very fluid situation." The five foot eleven inch senior to be has other schools such as oklahoma state and nebraska lining up as well and is a player that we will continue to keep our eye on.

Rick, it's posts like this that make me feel as if I should pay more for this premium recruiting info., then the typical huge checks. Thx.

Great update Daris, Rick. Sometimes it takes a little luck to get ahead in this industry, and I think you've got what it takes.

Luck?  It's pure elbow grease.  Making 3-4 calls over a weekend is brutal, what with real jobs and kids sporting events.

I understand. It's real labor. But actually getting those fragile 18 year olds to answer phone calls is like fly fishing. It's a real art, but sometimes requires a little luck.

ESPN Insider update to hold you over...until GPC gets their phones back up and running and some time frees up from some real jobs and the youth sporting events ratchet down.

Can't copy and paste for obvious reasons but he comments on Nebraskas academic support and said of the three they have the best academic support which is something his parents really loved seeing. Said he liked their facilities.

Oklahoma State says their facilities are "state of the art" and is going back to OSU again this time w/ his basketball team for their basketball camp. Also says he likes how everything is centrally located there.

Kansas State: Said "may not have had all the flashy stuff the other two had" but comments on the people. Said the people were "great" and the people made it "stand out" and that they were ready and willing to help out with anything.

Basically he said OSU had best facilities, Neb academics and K-State people. He does mention at the beginning he just wants to feel comfortable so gotta think us having the best 'people' is a plus. I also hope our track program is big for him. Also points out that OSU and K-State are recruiting as DB and Neb as WR so be interesting to see which one he wants to play as it could make a big difference obviously. Hopefully the track thing is big b/c it seems the things we lead at (people skills?) aren't 'flashy' and sadly 18 yr old kids often like 'flashy'.
