When I bruised my ribs playing for #StrutNCut last spring, I couldn't sneeze for like a month.  A sneeze would start and eventually the inhale hurt my ribs so bad that I somehow didn't have to sneeze anymore.

If you're on the verge but can't get it out do you guys squint at a light to help release the sneeze??? Works like a charm everytime

this is a thing. photic sneeze reflex i've read that fighter pilots sneeze their faces off when they turn into the sun.

Any time I sneeze I try to stifle it. I can't help it, it is an automatic reaction. People always tell me "You'll hurt yourself trying to hold in a sneeze."

This weekend I sneezed once without holding it in and my nephew said, "Good job. You sneezed like a normal person."

I only sneeze one at a time and they are very violent and I usually yell a bit when I do it.  I don't care for it in the least.  Occasionally I will get momentary pain in my extremities after one.  I don't know what that's about.
