True story: A young Sundance Kid broke his hand by punching a floor during the first half of that game. He got it checked out 24 hours later to confirm the break.  :gocho:

I remember using Newman as a WR our last series of the Texas loss that year. He just decoyed for about 5 straight plays til we were in FG range

Freeman was so terribly mismanaged.  His RBs were barely JUCO quality.  Play calling was horrid.  I remember time after time the other team would score and we go 3 and out on 3 straight pass plays in under a minute and punt it right back.  Ridiculous
Eh, in '08, I agree.  Lamark and Logan Dold were not Big 12 running backs.

Leon Patton and James Johnson were legitimately good though.

Yea, maybe I'm not giving them enough credit.  But I do think their stats were helped by defenses thinking that even if they do run it well, they won't stick with it so just focus on the pass.
