By Cathy Dawes Last updated: 27th April 2012
One of the 11 people arrested in connection with an undercover prostitution investigation by Riley county Police is an official at Kansas State.
Karl Eric Kandt, who serves as Assistant Director of Career and Employment Services for the university, is listed on the police report as Karl E. Kandt of Herrington, with a charge of patronizing prostitution and a bond set at $500.
K-State’s Director for news and Editorial, Erinn Barcomb-Peterson, tells KMAN since it is a legal matter the university cannot comment, other than to confirm Kandt’s identity and position at the university.
11 people have been arrested the past couple of days in connection with the case.
