if you really love hanging siding you should just do it for the rest of your life or until you stop loving hanging siding. If you don't like wiping adult asses you should probably cease your quest to become a male nurse.

It'd be sweet to do something for a living that you really enjoy.  eff, if I loved hanging siding, I'd hang the crap out of it and start my own company.

Biochemistry majors that are minoring in Spanish and have stated that they are going to medical school in two years in the thread you made this comment in are clearly becoming male nurses...thanks for the commentary and solid gold advice though!

I do love hanging siding, but I don't always love everyone else that loves to hang siding. My boss at the time that I was doing it was 27 and making 75k a year. He didn't even own the company. I was 22 making 42k a year. I like to mentally challenged as well though, that's why I went back to school.

Moral of the story, learn to love manual labor and have a brain. You can make a fine living doing it.

i was a lab courier  years ago, and have done lots of the remodeling and new construction around there more recently.  my mom is also a director there.  it's a good company to work for.

I'm not sure this is the thread to be admitting to associations with medical fields and/or construction work. And you did both in one post. I'll pray for thee.

so you love to do it and your 27 year old boss who didn't even own the company was already making 75k when he was basically the age that you are now. being mentally challenged is great but you can do that a billion different ways. i get the idea that you realize you are pretty  smart and capable, but for some reason feel like hanging siding or owning a business that does it is below you. why? who are you trying to show off to?

If you want to know really, I'll pm it to you. I'm not going to lay it out for the board to use against me later.

Just don't show up for the job you accepted, don't call or let them know you won't be there and pretend nothing's wrong.
