Athletic/Celebrity sightings (as in within 50 feet of, in most cases much less):

Celebrity:  Rode the elevator down to the lobby with Gene Simmons and Tommy Thayer, they were playing at the park next door. (we didn't go)  Gene told the Hispanic Housekeepers who got on with us to, "Calm down ladies, lets not get excited here"  (think of Gene saying it). 

Athletic:  Rode elevator down with Hubert Davis.

Digger Phelps and Jay Bilas walked by us. 

Walked right past Nolan Richardson at the airport. 

Was within 30 feet of Gameday broadcast:  Knight, Dickie V., Tom Izzo, Digger, John Anderson.

Paul Finebaum walked right past us in the lobby of the hotel.

ku:    (saved by a handful of Johnson County types, who might as well have Johnson County stamped on their foreheads, and I should know, I grew up there, otherwise they would have had a 4  rating).

Ohio St. fans are weird when traveling. Never wear anything OSU related except to the game. At least it was that way during the Fiesta Bowl. Everywhere you went two days before the game was purple, then all these OSU fans showed up for the game.
