Is this thing being constructed?  Haven't heard anything about it since they announced it.

I do know that it's still a go.
Don't know any more beyond that though.  I may be way off, but I thought that maybe things would happen after this semester is over.

I'm assuming once the Rec expansion is completed, we'll hear more about it.  So much dang construction. :emawkid:

I was thinking that when they announced it, they announced they were going to start fundraising for it.  I assume they still want to build it, but I don't know if the funds are in place yet?

I thought it was wrapped up in the football fundraising with the WSE.

Its something Bosco has wanted for years.   Apparently they want to renovate East Stadium and turn it into a "Welcome Center" that consolidates student recruitment, admissions, financial aid etc. etc. all under one roof.

They want to spend an a$$ load of money on it and as per usual that's got academic townies in a tizzy.

God forbid we want to do something logical in a crappy, mostly underused space.

The next step is having the spring game in that stadium.  Having a 1/10 full BSFS every year looks like crap.
Is that Manhattan?  My God, it's beautiful!
