A 34% eFG% just isn't going to get it done. Syracuse was 5-5 from 3 in the 2nd half and shot a ridiculous 78.6% eFG% AND had a FT rate of 100% AND AND had a OR% of 67%. Basically they scored the equivalent of a made 2PT shot on 24 of 29 2nd half possession. Some of that was poor defense, but they also made plenty of hard/guarded shots. 25 offensive board for us and only 16 defensive rebounds is a pretty crazy number.

Being equal in TO% and the OR% for the game was plenty to win it, you just have to make more shots. When no individual player has an eFG% of better than 45% (Will) its really tough to beat good teams, let alone a Top 10 team. (I believe Cuse is still a Top 10 team without Melo).

You go 8-34 with 9 turnovers in 1st half........... and your only down 1 because of good defense and a 15 to 3 adv on the off boards.   Had to be happy at halftime

Syr off rebounds early in the 2nd half are what made me so mad.   It caused JO to get his 3rd foul.   The lead went from 1 to 9 with him out..... and we did not have a run to get back in the game, nor an answer for their 3pt shooting.

Fatty Statty stat stat of the game =   Gotta go with JO's 11 offensive reounds.   Just amazing when you can tally double digit OR numbers

We were 7-31 in first half of KU game.  1-8 from 3.  So 24.2 eFG% vs KU i think it our worst

Game in Austin, Horns were 11-16 and 4-5 3pt in 2nd half....so that would be 81.3 eFG% Def.   

IN KC,  I know Baylor made 28 of their last 45 shots.   But that was more than 20 minutes of play
