Why does it matter if your kid wants to go to KU?  BFD.  And why wouldn't they if you live close to KU?  You should be more disturbed that your kid doesn't want to go to an Ivy League school.  That's where your failure as a parent truly lies.

It's not the actual college attending folks that are usually the issue . . . it's the low self esteem non college attending bandwagoners that are usually the issue.   In ku's case they have a $hitload of them.  Other schools like OU, Cornhole and Texas have truckloads of them as well.  

Small college attending, large school bandwagoners are also quite annoying at times.

They're bad. But the absolute worst are the KSU grads the go gaga for squawk basketball. I know two, both former editors of the Collegian (if you can believe it).

They're bad. But the absolute worst are the KSU grads the go gaga for squawk basketball. I know two, both former editors of the Collegian (if you can believe it).

My eye doctor is one of these.  Tried to talk BB with me the other day, but didn't even know we played the night before.  Then he proceeded to speak in depth details about KU.  The guy grew up a stone's throw from the 'ville and did undergrad at KSU.

Makes me sick.
