I mean, I always knew that our fanbase whined a lot about stupid crap like that, but I thought that all fanbases had that.....but twitter is really opening my eyes to the fact that KSU has the worst tuck fanbase in the world.  I mean, they were whining to Gottlieb that he didn't give ksu enough credit, and that was after Doug bled purple all weekend in Hawaii.

I think there might be something to the respect card with preseason rankings, but I don't think it really applies to mid-season rankings.

Did anyone really believe we'd be ranked at this point in the season? I foresaw a Wooly-style loss to a terrible team and for WVU and Bama to have bent us over by now, seeing how young we are and how poorly a start we've gotten off to historically.

I will go to my grave defending Kentucky as the bluest of the blue bloods. They are, and it isn't even close. They can bitch, moan, and crap talk as much as they want. I was raised a UK fan, and I'm still a little pissed that Pitino didn't play Derek Anderson in the title game...ruining the run of the three. It would be my combo fan dream for KSU and Kentucky to enter into some Football/Basketball home and homes.
