You can join in on our tailgate, but we're alum and can't swing student tickets anymore
FWIW though, my first year after I graduated I was working in Manhattan and most of my friends had either graduated and left or didn't go to the games, so I would pick up student tickets from facebook or friend's friend's or whatever, and would pretty much always go by myself to games. Yea it's a little bit lone-wolf'ish, but cool for a couple reasons.
1. You can always get a good seat. It doesn't matter if you go in 5 minutes before kickoff/tip. If you're by yourself you can always get in the first 15 rows and don't have to worry about squeezing in you and your friends somewhere.
2. Meeting the people around you. As aforementioned, you'll get a good seat, and generally the people that are closest tend to be most knowledgeable/better fans (yea a bit elitist, but they care about KSU). I wasn't really big on the hug/sway thing during the alma matter, but wabash and other things get you all involved.
I thought I could come up with more reasons, but I guess just 2 is all I have. Go 4 Icat next season btw
