Anyone concerned that we allowed loser face to stay so long while badly losing and now we can't get rid of this coach if she is equally loser face?

If Mean Gene gives her an extension after going 6-10-3, then sure

Could we not just hire the St. Louis head coach? I don't know about the soccer hierarchy, but I would hope we could make a better offer for non-rev sports than SLU. I'm pretty meh on the hire, but I am glad we're making a change.

I don't know why we're cheap, but Dibbini was making only a bit more than $100k.

By comparison, KU's head coach makes nearly $250k (made NCAAs in his first year this year - and lost to SLU in the first round - after being the head coach at Xavier for a while)

You get what you pay for...

i would love for one of our media members to ask her about that step backwards.  i won’t fault her for having the self awareness and confidence to do it though.

She did a job reset because they were bad at Wyoming. SLU is a great program and absolutely has way more resources than Wyoming. This is the soccer version of Chip Kelly and Gus Malzahn.

SLU soccer is a great mid major with great resources. She's women's soccer Mark Few. She's been there a while and not been poached yet. They're a private school so we don't know her salary, but it's safe to assume she's making bank. The assistant that Corbin replaced is now the head coach at Marquette.
