How do you have Cadillac Williams, Ronnie Brown and Brandon Jacobs on one team and go 8-5?

Great question.  But the answer lays in what happened to our O Coordinator.  We had Petrino before he went crazy and went to a million teams in 3 years.  He had our offense humming.  He left and Tuberville made the mistake of a lifetime, he handed the play calling duties to his O line coach.  We bombed.  It was then that we brought on Al Borges who featured Brown and Williams in the same backfield and we dominated the 2004 season.

Borges fell out of graces after they left, and he alluded to it before it ever happened, and then Tuberville when high school spread, which was a disaster and Chizik was brought in.  He runs the exact same offense, just with a better O coordinator.

And yes, we ALL knew how much of a beast Jacobs was while he was here.  We also had some stud defenses at the time.

I know a couple Auburn fans. Why do you guys love putting retainer ropes on your sunglasses?

Haha!  WHen I go on vacation with the fam in Destin, it never fails that I can walk into Sunglass Hut and some kid is getting some $300 sunglasses for his bday from mom.  Always a frat daddy looking kid and he always had to get his croakies (the brand of those straps).

I don't sport them since my mustache is more than enough for the ladies to know how badass I am.

q:  How is that big tree doing?

follow up:  are you pissed that an Alabama fan seems to have more ZEAL than any Auburn fan?

There's a chance it's going to make it, as only one seems to be in real trouble.

The ZEAL down here is insane.  It was so bad that I really kind of took a step back for a while to gain some perspective.  People literally HATE each other over these two teams.  For one Alabama/Auburn game we went down to Auburn.  My wife is a Bama fan and we were not allowed into a tailgate because of who she rooted for.  That's pretty terrible.  Never had that issue in Tuscaloosa.

And for the record, I've been to a Michigan/OSU game in Columbus and it was tame compared to an average SEC gameday in Auburn or Tuscaloosa.

There are some absolutely horrible UA fans since their sidewalk fanbase is so huge.  Auburn fans tend to be alums.  I'm sure you see the same with OSU fans.

:ck: IDK...I had a pretty good time drinking with the OSU fans at the Fiesta Bowl.  Seemed like pretty good people.  Beginning of the game, they were all  :comeatme: .  Toward the end of the game when the Cats finally got into gear, they were all  :horrorsurprise: and said they were glad it didn't go to OT.
