K-State football during the Snyder years has always been known for its stifling cone of silence surrounding the program. It is what it is.
Drop some dirty goat meat money on any NCAA investigator and this whole thing goes away.
Turns out The Legend knew about this all along but was just sitting on the info.QuoteoldefellaADMINPost #7898The Purple NationMyFanPageAdd BuddyIgnore 16 and counting ... Reply --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Okay, deep breath everyone. We all know Coach doesn't like surprises, and there's zero doubt that this whole Miami situation was not any sort of surprise to the boss. (What? You thought the NCAA clearing the Browns to play so quickly was some sort of happy coincidence? Nah!)I've seen some of you express your frustrations with the lack of information 'flowing' from Vanier. With the exception of Mr. Prince's brief tenure, K-State football during the Snyder years has always been known for its stifling cone of silence surrounding the program. It is what it is.Coach really doesn't believe that there's any good thing that can come from revealing the inner workings of his staff and team. As a result, we always head toward opening day expecting the unexpected, and sometimes we get just that (for better or worse). This year's no different. We'll see what happens. There you go - just two more examples of a legendary coach exercising absolute control. For K-Staters, that's been 'fact' since day one of the Snyder era. You might get frustrated, but you also need to get used to it.With Will Spradling and Rod McGruder finished with their European sports competitions for the summer, three of our track and field standouts now are participating in the World University Games in China this week. NCAA high jump champion Erik Kynard will be part of Team USA for the meet, and Martynas Jurgilas and Mantas Silkauskas will represent Lithuania. Following the World University Games, Kynard will travel to South Korea to join the senior national team for the IAAF World Championships. Good stuff! Congratulations and good luck to these outstanding Wildcat ambassadors! One of the things I'm gonna do Saturday before heading out to the stadium for Fan Appreciation Day is drop my old Memorial Stadium to watch and listen to 'The Pride of Wildcat Land' as it prepares for the upcoming marching season and Saturday night's annual appearance in Aggieville. Also, always good stuff.Sixteen days. What are the odds (between slim and none) that we'll survive 'em without swirling rumors and major meltdowns? Yep ... we're getting anxious.Got your tickets?

Which Brown brother got to go to the strip club, or did they both go? Not as good as a hooker, but for a strapping young man, it was probably more appreciated than the meal or hotel.
As someone with no GPC experience, who is oldfella?
