EMAWmeister, you're out of your element on this one.  Daniel Thomas technically "shared" the running back role with Powell last year and Valentine the year before. 

I fully expect BB to get about 70% of the touches.

That's not even counting option plays where he pitches the football. Physically, that's just about the same as a carry.

That's not even counting option plays where he pitches the football. Physically, that's just about the same as a carry.

Tackle is a little tougher on the ball carrier.  The pitcher on the option usually just gets smacked after the pitch to remind them of the hazards of running the option.

He's effing ready.

I hope so. I would love it if Sams came in 3 games into the season and leads the team the rest of the year. I wouldn't doubt him starting if he graduated in December and enrolled early like he should have. But since he only arrived this summer, I think we won't see him play significant time at QB until 2012.
