It doesn't sound like anybody else who was recruiting him gave him money. I think elite teams all do this, but I'd be surprised if K-State were paying players. The recruiting just hasn't been good enough.

knew a punter back in the DOD through a class;  said an envelope showed up in his locker with $$ in it.  I don't remember how much he said, but I kind of didn't believe him because I think he was just showing off for a fellow female classmate.   Could have been bowl game per diem.
