Anybody Remember the first Big 12 game?

I remember being out the parking lot tailgating and then walking up to the stadium to look at the new "Jumbotron" that was just put in. 

Thinking it was the coolest thing ever.

Subsequent research by me determined that it was the smallest outdoor Sony Jumbotron ever sold, it was also one of the last CRT based Sony Jumbotrons ever sold.

I was there.  Beasley came in and whipped the ball around a little bit and I was very impressed.  I was in the 'tuck section enjoying the W.

Yeah I remember being in the student section, sweating my balls off because the game was played in August and probably because of a mild hangover as well.  Texas Tech had a punter named Jared Greaser or something, we giggled every time the PA guy said "Greaser"

The new Jumbotron seemed like a big deal at the time, everyone was in awe of it   :lol:

There was a really major K-StateO banner hanging on Bramlage.

Loved this game. It was my brother's 6th birthday that day and me and him got matching Kevin Lockett #83 jerseys from my parents to wear to the game. (Yep, I got a present on my bro's b-day)  :gocho:

K-State was simply awful on offense . . . but we got to watch replays on the "jumbo" tron.

the stadium was probably the smallest one to get a jumbotron.  doesn't the smallest jumbotron make sense?  and when you consider how relatively poor we are, we're extremely lucky to have bcs level crap even if it is low end.

i think we nearly killed their receiver on the last play. he was all unconscious and crap but we were so pumped about winning that nobody cared.
