" Young men were crying in there, just as they were crying a year ago after the loss to Northern Iowa."

The big letdowns were Tyke Reed, Brady Morningstar and Josh Shelby going 3 for 21 from the field.

hilarious that doyel has three takes on this game already, while the Star has wire reports and press game quotes.
"How will I recruit to Manhattan? Well, distance. And the proud state of basketball. It start there, and then daily flights to Dallas, because I'm really good at going out. Like top five good. Ask my wife. She wants me to be happy."

Reed was unbelievably bad. At first I was excited about his cac performance, then for a split second felt sorry, but soon realized that dbags such as Tyrell "I'm living my life's dream" Reed really deserve no sympathy. Hopefully his new brother in law, Darrell Stuckey, beats his ass for the sorry performance he had in a uk uniform.

As for Selby, has there ever been a guy hyped this much that shows no sense of understanding how to play within an offensive system? I mean, if he actually made shots outside of the offense it would be okay, but for the most part he just throws up prayers early in the shot clock.

Morningstar is nothing more than a white kid from Lawrence that wishes he was black.

By the way, nice name, I really miss the fish bowls at Mel's.

He understands that KU's fan base is over half bandwagon, and loves to shove this stuff down their throat. Thrives on it. BITB

I've said it many times. A team that relies on Drunkenstar and Reed for significant minutes will not win natn'l championships. Great role players/contributors, but not good enough to be anything more.
