Dlew really shouldn't be posting in this thread. His a great EMAW (one of the best) but sees bball simply as a means to pass the time until football season.  Any success is "icing on the cake" if you will.  This makes his perspective on the situation far too reasonable.

Dlew, let the bball fans be upset and care for their guys.  It is part of the healing process. We still have plenty of time to fully recover before we cheer on the katz in your favorite sport...

not sure if it's wrong or not.  not going through life as a crybaby is pretty big.  it's just a basketball game, after all.  it's just for fun.

I didn't tear up until yesterday morning. My wife started crying at breakfast because she felt bad that I missed my alarm to go welcome the team at 430am. That's when I lost it.

Seriously.  I love the rhythm of basketball.  2 games a week, you get used to it and now there's nothing for so long.  The ending is too abrubt.  At least with football you know going into the last game that its the last game, the finallity of the tourney is a bitch.
