So who is going to volunteer to start the Boycott . . .
« on: March 18, 2011, 09:51:31 AM »
against CBS for breaking away from our game on TruTV to go to the end of the UCLA vs Mich. State game?

Also, if any of your are planning on calling into BITB to complain, give us the approximate time you plan to call so we can tune in.

Christ, great post.

When that happens, K-State fans kick back, grab another beer and enjoy a great ending to another game. Turns right back on to find the Cats up 13.

KU fans, well...

The thing that pissed me off was that they cut away to show the referees looking at a monitor. If it's the last possession, then ok, but I don't need to see the drama of the zebras debating on whether or not to add 0.2 seconds back on the clock. That crap is boring enough during K-State games.

Me the whole time screaming, "You as@holes, if I wanted to watch this f$#@ing game, I'd go down the dial four channels and watch the f(&&ing game. But I don't give a shi†, you as$holes."
rinse, repeat until they finally got back to our game.

I didn't even notice because I turned over to watch the end of that game anyway.  We had our game in hand so why not see a good game.   :ck:

It was ridiculous because anybody who is watching a game on TruTV would be able to just change the channel to TBS and watch the other game if they wanted to. It's not like they were providing the end of a good game to people who were unable to see it otherwise.

With the games on 4 channels, the only reason they should ever switch is away from CBS, for someone (from 1974) who doesn't have cable/satellite.  Anyone that gets TruTV, gets TBS, TNT, and CBS and can switch on their own.  JFC, I thought that was part of the point of showing multiple channels...

Never did see a replay of it.

I heated up my phone to watch the KSU game when they made the switch. Got the stream running just in time to see "the alley oop no one saw." It was not as magnificent as it sounds. Kelly sort of bobbled it, and while he did grab rim and put the ball through, it was a far cry from say...I don't know, a JO power tomahawk for instance. Still :emawkid: though.
