What is the safest way for teams to travel?

After the Cats plan is hit by lightning and now KU's bus driver drops dead, what is a team to do?  Rail?  Tandem bikes?

Heard about the lightening thing and all. Doesn't this happen all the time? Like, it's really a non issue. Maybe Chings can give an elite physics explanation.
