That was an embarrassment.

I'm not going to debate whether or not she was up there, as I can't properly gauge her talent since I don't watch women's basketball, but unless you're a national player of the year, and probably a national champion, would you EVER hang a jersey before the player even expired their eligibility.

I thought everyone agreed that Jake deserves to have his jersey retired.   

Lehning was awesome and deserved having her jersey retired, and if you aren't a fan of women's basketball, then why should the timing of it bother you?  The precedent was set with Ohlde and Wecker, so why the hell does everyone bitch about Lehning?

Never found any rational logic whatsoever in waiting for any period of time.  Either the jersey deserves to be hung or not, it's not like anything that happens after senior night takes precedent over the previous 125+ games, the dye has been cast.  The only reason you and others want to wait is just because it is what has always been done.  Well, some people drag negroes behind trucks using the same logic.  For the sake of common sense, break the cycle man.
