Didn't watch the game live so i went back to try and find it on espn30.com. From camera angle, knew it happened in the 2nd half so started skimming through after halftime. Occurred at the 14:14 minute mark in the 2nd half on a rebound of a missed shot by KU. Stafford and queef Morris were tangled and pushing each other during the rebound. After they separated, queef threw his arm out into Stafford's face. Ref immediately blew a whistle on queef and went to the monitor to review. Bob Knight commented after seeing the replay that it was "going to be a problem". After refs reviewed and called it a technical foul, Knight said that he was surprised queef wasn't ejected from the game.
Funny thing about the whole incident was I could tell it was going to happen as I watched the replay looking for the incident. Just before that when mucus Morris was shooting the FT after the inbound jam, Stafford aggressively pushed back into queef. It appeared then that queef looked like he wanted to go after Stafford and then it also looked like queef made kind of a swipe - push-off on Stafford as they ran back down the court. I started watching closer as I could tell that queef was about ready to blow. Which he did.
Mucus and queef have proven all year that they have short tempers and will do something stupid when they get pushed around a little bit. Sure would be nice if the Cats had some depth and physicality in the front court that we could play rough with them early in the game to try and get them to do something stupid. Where is Lou Colon when you need him?
