Some keys, if anyone was looking...
1) Make it a grinder. Doesn't have to be Doc-ed up, but CU has only won 1 game in the league when the pace was 67 or lower. They don't want a grinder for sure. Mid to low 60s is probably where we want it.
2) Get to the FT line. In Big 12 every time CU has had a higher FT Rate than their opponent, they have won. Every time their FT Rate was lower, they lost. If the Cats can get close to their average and keep CU in the low 30s we'll be in great shape.
3) Offensive boards. Only 1 time in league play when the Buffs had a higher OR% than their opponents have they lost the game. Again, Cats need to get to our average and keep CU below 40%.
4) Guard the ball. CU has shown they can make shots, and make tough shots. But we don't need some lock down game where we keep their eFG% in the mid 40s. Lowe 50s would work, and CU had their 2nd best eFG% of the Big 12 in Manhattan.
