Oh, also, I hate myles

85.7% from 3!

3pt shooting is not the problem for these Quatz

its been pretty terrible in our conference losses

Its been a major component of every loss except CU.  CU was our only loss in which we hit better than 29% from 3.

Fool's gold, indeed.

My thoughts exactly.  Those dudes catch the ball on Offense, look around for about 2 seconds, then take it to the rack.

Which is pretty awesome.

And how long do people have to watch Frank Martin basketball to understand that guards (esp. Pullen) aren't failing if they "get beat" off the dribble?  It's the help defense that's failing.

If I'm not mistaken, it's "ok" from a help perspective if our guards get "beat", however they (the guards) are supposed to force the driver to a certain spot, basically ourside or parallel to the FT lane.   it appears that our guards problem is that they are getting beat right towards the rim, or inside the lane, imo.

This is somewhat correct.  Coaches do sometimes gameplan to overplay a player a certain way and they obviously get pissed when a player screws up the scout and allows a ball handler on a part of the court that a coach is trying to prevent.  However, if you get beat at this level it's going to be in the lane.  This is Frank keeps talking about a shot blocker and "having Curtis back there."  Really important for the guard who got beat to rotate to the wing to prevent a three point bomb.  This is why we have some nights where we get beat by Levi Knudson, Phil Pressey, and Alan Voskuil.

73.3% in conference play with a 42.3% FT rate.
