He is carrying the ball like a loaf of bread. Looks like the 'come and get it' and/or 'share the pig' ball carrying techniqe...sources tell me that most coaches don't really like this.   If he can't hold onto the ball I would rather see any other receiver on the field instead of him. You can have all the talent in the world but if you can't hang on to the ball you're going to be on the bench.
doesn't sound very coachable :frown:

Coachable? Like... don't stare down your WR's so you almost throw 3 picks coachable?

Also, saw hotrod in the lot before the game, seemed to be aimlessly cruising through the tailgates. Lack of attention/other teammates/girls around him made me sad.

sounds like some crap you'd here in the back room of a Laotian whorehouse.

I think Eli Manning played in Laos. It may have just been an arena team thought. idk...

Home game vs. Texas Tech in 07 (?) when the scoreboard was busted for a while and they had to cycle the KSU score up to get it back to normal. Enjoyed seeing the scoreboard say KSU-96 TT-13 or something. This was probably 1st quarter, when I already knew that was the only time I'd see us winning in that game.

Rumblings that he was eating Panda Express.

Thing about Panda Express is that everyone always says how good it is and how well they will serve you.  Then you finally get Panda Express and it looks like it could be really good, smells good, and people are still talking about how much potential the meal has.  Then you finally eat the food and it just isn't very good.  So you take your left overs home and think that a night in the fridge may help the flavors mix and may be one of those meals that gets better after some time.  Then you eat it the next day for lunch and it still isn't very good.  Still looks good.  Still smells fine, but just isn't great.  Then you are pissed that you wasted so much time and emotion looking forward to what you hoped would be a fantastic meal of Chinese only to find yourself still out looking for good Chinese, only all this time has gone by and you have nothing to show from it except the realization that Panda Express just isn't all that.  Sure you drive by it when you are out at the Legends and you still remember how all those people told you it was so good and you still can't help thinking to yourself that maybe you just tried it on a bad day...

Any way to work Panda Express getting a Twitter and you spending several months trying to justify its emo/bitchiness compared to the adorableness of all the other Chinese restaurants' twitters into this metaphor?

Watched the Caulie video at the end. Kinda wondering how the kid is ranked so high.

Still, would take.

I bet this only intensifies the team Sams vs Team Tay bbs.

Personally, I'm team "whoever doesn't decommit/leave"

not bothered by him following zero.  he obviously reads feeds and responds to crap.

This.

More not bothered because him following zero virtually guarantees he maintains a separate twitter acct just for his follows. Probably also uses it to supply some of the tweets he wittily responds to.

Italy really considers themselves to be French.

I have a sister studying in Italy, and she says Italians consider themselves part of the Arab world.

Also, I learned everything I need to know about Italy from this movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317740/

"Something else I don’t like, I don’t like change. I don’t like moving around."

Apparently he doesn't apply this ethic to the guys he recruits....

The only R word OB wants to end is Recruiting. Maybe they can call it Respecting.

Then again, he no longer is allowed to pay for rivals, so the staff can't be powe(respect)ards.

Wally, talking to Frank:
" I mean, suddenly, you move to MHK, and you're supposed to be this entirely different guy. I don't feel different. I mean, take yesterday for example. We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely. And uh, I happen to look over at a certain point during the meal and see a waitress taking an order, and I found myself wondering what color her underpants might be. Her panties. Uh, odds are they are probably basic white, cotton, underpants. But I sort of think well maybe they're silk panties, maybe it's a thong. Maybe it's something really cool that I don't even know about. You know, and uh, and I started feeling... what? what I thought we were in the trust tree in the nest, were we not?"

PERSONAL ISSUES!!!

I would suppose the odds are the Josh Selby will end up playing for Kansas this fall. However, where there is smoke there is fire. The question is whether the fire is big enough to be a problem with the NCAA. As you may have heard, he is being investigates for possibly having an oral agreement for future representation by a family friend.

How about Selby just doesn't show up in the first place? Even though Jake owning Selby like he did Jimmer would be fun, seeing Freddy, Wally and JamSam shut out Morris could be just as fun.
KU hating aside... still would probably take Selby over Angel.
Oh, and previous Avatar fail has been corrected.

I'm a noob, but been following a while...

much more excited about Gipson than Diaz, but this is at least encouraging that he won't be like our last 7 footer from Florida:

Quote
Seven-foot center Adrian Diaz is a major sleeper in the 2011 class. In a class lacking high quality bigs, Diaz could become a priority in the near future. He is a long and has a developing offensive game. You can't teach size and Diaz has that in abundance. Playing for Gold Coast, Diaz has been moderately productive. Scoring inside, showing a decent face up game, blocking shots and rebounding his position. Look for his recruiting to pick up real soon.
